JPL Season Recap
What. A. Season. Entering the Junior Premier League meant going up against teams with massive catchment areas and serious talent… but our boys only lost ONE game all season and made it all the way to TWO National Finals!
First stop? The legendary St George’s Park – the home of England training! The lads were buzzing, and to top it off, they even got to meet Southampton players. Unreal memories!
But the real highlight? The sheer grit, determination, and never-say-die attitude these boys showed week after week. From epic comebacks to relentless hard work, they proved what they’re made of. And the rewards rolled in: League Winners x2 at Castleford Central and Yorkshire Cup Champions – our trophy cabinet is filling fast!
Looking Ahead……..
Now, eyes on next season. We know the target’s on our back. We’re the team to beat. But remember this – we might be from a small village near Wakefield, but we can go toe-to-toe with the best in the country.
Three Words to Describe the Team
Resilient. Relentless. United!
A huge thank you to all the parents and coaches for the time, effort, and support you give every week. The team wouldn’t be where they are without you.
Good luck to the U10 Reds JPL for the season ahead – from everyone at Altofts Juniors AFC.
